Over the weekend, students in both the Medicine & Health Care and Engineering programs were able to see many of the ins and outs of space exploration. On Saturday, Dr. William J. Tarver, a NASA flight surgeon spoke to HEAL students about his experiences keeping astronauts happy and healthy while on space missions. Throughout Saturday and Sunday, students took turns visiting Space Center Houston, exploring historic sites like the Apollo era Mission Control Center, Rocket Park, and the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility, where astronauts still train today.
